Job Description

Designation: - Warehouse Manager

Planning & Implementation: Responsible for the developing, documenting, and executing a warehouse and logistics plan which will drive to improve efficiency, utilization & enhance customer service.
Operations: Close coordination of managing warehouse metrics with 3PL for inbound and outbound materials. Material planning with Production, Engineering team to get Material on time, Maintain Minimum safety stock level stock for key items.
Inventory Management: A monthly inventory record with ageing is maintained and action plans are followed. Periodic audits with accuracy above 99.9% and publishing reports as per business needs.Identify, Segregate Non Moving and Rejected materials.
Operational excellence: Drive Operational excellence tools across warehouse and lead projects like ISO certifications, 5S, etc. Responsible for complete documentation for inbound and outbound materials. Ensure 100% identification of every material.
KPIs & P&L management: Ensure warehouse KPIs are maintained above 90%, manage warehouse effectively and adherence to Policies and SOPs.
Responsible for the overall adherence to planning quality and internal as well as customer experience of both Inbound& Outbound operations.
Accountable for Inventory (RM, PM, SFG, FP, IM, MRO, utilities) across facility maintaining 99.95% stock accuracy. Provide purchase requisition as per monthly production planning, R&D, Admin, MRO (Maintenance, repair, operational) requirements.
Manage total asset / operational cost for warehouse. Set operational strategy and oversee execution to optimize cost, by identifying cost saving initiatives.
Responsible for continuous performance management.
Responsible for driving and achieving targets for key distribution KPIs such as Logistics cost/MT, Cost reduction, Inventory and dispatch Accuracy and productivity, Zero Accidents/ Safety issue.
Drive RCA and CAPA with ground operations teams for operational deviations and inaccuracies, Safety incidences.
Coordinate with tech teams to resolve functional tech issues affecting operations.
Liaison with operations, logistics, sourcing, finance team for warehouse operations. Coordinate with stakeholders such as Facilities, EHS, IT, Infra HR teams to ensure smooth continuation of operations in line with business goals.
Drive safety, legal compliance adherence for all relevant areas with regard to warehouse Operations.
Drive implementation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in operations in the roles assigned and adherence to important company policies.
Manage internal and external audits for warehouse to drive process adherence against company standards. Drive resolution of reported non-confirmations with ground operations teams.
