Job Description

Roles and responsibilities 


Responsible for event led activities and communication led projects will include planning internal and external conferences and events.
Prepare communication themes to be conveyed in the event using innovative platform and delivery
Facilitator for event attendees and participants (Logistics and content); Budgeting and managing event-related expenses;
Maintaining resource files and database and dossier of event sites and associated vendors
Strong network with leading event management vendors
Negotiating contractual arrangements with vendors.
Closely working with the Managing Directors office to build our culture and connectivity in APC


Engaging with stake holders to define the event schedule and content.
End to end project management of
Annual Internal Sales conference (Connect),
International incentive rewards and recognitions (Connect excellence club),
Family get together (Achievers club dinner)
Quarterly cycle meeting communication
Co-ordinate and update leadership team to plan event scope and format, establish and monitor budgets, review administrative procedures and discuss progress
Close co-ordination with vendors pertaining to event nuances (for example, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, printing, security) and manage contingencies as appropriate
Establish relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts to meet approved budget, compile estimated cost models, select sites, and execute required logistics.
Create manage and maintain for an overall annual budget for all office events as well as specific budgets for individual events


Explicit understanding of the organizations vision in reference to the high stakes in managing high quality events
Proactive approach in identifying projects
Ability to interact at all levels in the organization
High level of persuasion and influencing skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
Sense of urgency and ability work under pressure and stiff timelines
Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflict to reach consensus and common goals
