Job Description

Key Educational Qualification:

MBA from a top tier business school in India / abroad

Required Experience:

Experience: 12 to 15 years in Nutraceutical / food supplement business
o Atleast 3 years as a Business Head of nutra/food supplements business
o Exposure of working in an international geography will be an added advantage.
o The incumbent must have experience of working in cross functional teams and
dealing with different external stakeholders across the globe.
Level Specific Accountabilities:

Develop the comprehensive strategic plan for the nutraceutical business in conjunction
with all global stakeholders. This should encompass:
o Product Development strategy
o Go - to -Market strategy for launch of the business in India and other identified
o Manufacturing & supply chain strategy application to our business model.
P & L and Budget Management - to build the annual profit plan (Budget) for the business and manage the P & L effectively.
Oversee the complete operation of the business and ensure achievement of the identified thrust areas.
Champion the implementation of key initiative for growth, product development, customer experience, operational excellence, people development and engagement.
Ensure that all Regulatory & Statutory requirements and product registrations are adhered to.
Successfully lead the team (in a Matrix reporting structure) to achieve business goals. Coach the HODs to deliver the goods in their domain of expertise.
Provide required approved resources for maintain FSMS system.
Review general audit and lead MRMS.

2 Scope of Decision Making:

Operates with regular guidance from the senior leadership/directors on the
overall business strategy and key focus areas; need to seek approval for major
business initiatives (such as setting up of a new plant, expansion to a new
geography etc.)

Takes decisions and resolves operational issues related to the limited portfolio of the company

Takes proactive measures to drive process improvements within the area of
