We are currently hiring for the position of AGM/DGM - Accounts & Finance with a leading EPC company based at Ahmedabad.

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

Experience: 18-20Years(Post Qualification)

Job Role:

Accounts / MIS

Core team member in preparation of the restated financials of five years of the company for DRHP filing.
Involved in preparation of the quarterly financials of the company (standalone & consolidated)
Preparation of the SPVs financials according to HAM model to submit with authority (NHAI).
Involved in implementation of the Ind-As in the company.
Obtain CA certificates from the Statutory Auditor / Chartered Accountants as pre requirement of the BD team for tender bidding.
Guidance / quarterly review of the projects profitability and MIS for review of management.
Supervising Books of accounts, Ledgers, Trial balance, in compliance with the statutory & accounting norms & reclassification of wrong / unaccounted entries on monthly basis.
Monthly ascertain TDS liability and payment thereof. Filing quarterly TDS returns of the group companies (JVs, SPVs, LLPs).
Preparation of documents / reports for VAT assessment, Excise audit, Income tax assessment.
Preparing documentations for Import & Export and payment of custom duty.
Preparation of Bank Guarantee (ABG, PBG, FBG) and Letter of credit to submit with parties / suppliers and monitoring of the same for releasing.
Submission of monthly Stock account statement with the bank.
Work with Internal and Statutory Auditors during their visit and to ensure full cooperation from accounting staff and compliance / reply with all qualified requests.
Handling accounts operation, including AR / AP, financial statements and analyzing reports for companys operation.
Facilitate to get third party confirmation (receivable / payable), bank, statutory bodies as and when and reconciliation thereof.

Auditing & Attestation Services

During my work period I had gained wide exposure in auditing and had the chance to know about different type of Industries and have rendered services independently or in a team.

Preparing audit schedules and ensuring completion of the same within the stipulated time frame.
Handling the complete planning & management activities for ensuring completion of internal and external audits within time and cost budget in adherence to the pre-defined guidelines.
Conducting verification of books of accounts to detect any possible material misstatement and ensuring that accounts prepared are both reliable & prepared in accordance with set guidelines.
Finalizing the balance sheet of various companies and non-corporate assesses.
Evaluating internal control systems / procedures, preparing audit reports with a view to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.
Understanding audit requirements; observing & validating process for following quality procedures.
Preparing documentation for audit observations and the conclusions derived.
Giving recommendations on internal control and process improvement.

Statutory Compliances & Taxation

Ensuring compliance to the Government rules and regulations as laid down by statutory authorities viz. IT dept, excise department, etc.
Calculating of Advance tax, Tax payments, interest, penalties, etc.
Validation of Income Tax Returns, E-TDS Returns and Service Tax Returns.
